Dive into Summer

FIRST DAY

Take the time to explain the week to the children at the start of rotation as well as going over the tech lab rules for the summer.

Rules are in the binder.

Give a minute to go around with the kids and ask them about what they are excited about for the summer!

Topics to Discuss:

Theme of the week
Let them introduce each other if they haven’t in another rotation.
Talk about how the tech lab will be working this summer (movies, rotation, switch, etc.)
How they might earn Thunderbucks in the Tech Lab
Talk about how they will go to this website everyday to see what they are doing for the day

Fireboy and Water Girl: Kids get into teams of 2 and try to complete as many levels as possible.

If you have left over time play:

Bad Ice Cream: Kids get into teams of 2 and try to complete as many levels as possible. (Better for the older kids)

Try to reward Thunderbucks for teamwork and for levels.

This should be for the children to meet new kids at the start of the summer and to create new friends and work together.
